Paula Montecinos

A Nocturnal Listening, performance

The performance invites us to share a moment of the night, immersing eyes and ears in sounds and voices that reveal the connections between dreams, mythical time, and storytelling. Through low-frequency oscillations, field recording and electromagnetic sensing, we will explore sonic worldings, delving into the voices of witches, seers, and poets—among others who perceive through different beings.

Membranous memories, invoking the encounter of sound waves and skin, inviting the audience to weave together, distance and proximity, movement and rest, walking and lying down.
